New Instagram Features with Dark Mode

Dark mode itself seems to have become a trend and common things adopted by various services. This time it's Instagram's turn to follow their lead.

Until now, not all Instagram users have enjoyed the dark-dark feature, only in part, considering that this is only a beta version. To feel the dark mode, the device is required to have used the Android OS Pie and Android 10.

Quoted from Phone Arena, Thursday (9/26/2019), some Instagram users have tested the dark mode feature that mentions that the Pixel smartphone which is supported by Android 10, can activate its dark mode.

In addition, dark mode on Instagram is also present on Samsung devices whose operating system is running Android 9.0 Pie.

Not yet known for certain, when Instagram will officially introduce this feature to the public. Possible in the near future.

Dark mode is indeed a gadget trend. Google, Apple, Microsoft and a number of other technology companies have introduced that option. As the name implies, this mode means adjusting the color scheme of the software to prioritize dark tones namely black and dark gray rather than white and light gray.

The biggest benefit of dark mode is probably the reduction in blue light, thereby increasing eye comfort when viewing.
