How Do You Send A Direct Message On Instagram
To send your first DM on Instagram, take an image as you generally would. You could use just the same filters to "DM photos" as you could with all various other Instagram blog posts. When you're ready to send it straight to somebody (or a group of people)-- faucet NEXT as usual.
From the Share to menu towards the top of the display, tap DIRECT (see # 1 in screenshot below). Now faucet inside the Write a caption ... window, as well as type out your message (see # 2 in screenshot below).
When you're done composing your message, faucet OK.
Now scroll through your checklist of Instagram contacts and tap the circle next to their name to ensure that an eco-friendly "check mark" appears. KEEP IN MIND: you can select more than one recipient if you want to share a message or picture with a group of people.
When you prepare to send out the photo and message, faucet SEND TO (NAME).
When they open up Instagram, they'll be presented with a notice on the "mailbox" icon as highlighted in the screenshot below.
